Article:Recently, a poster of musical "The Promise" has been released. It features Super Junior's Leeteuk, actor Ji Hyun Woo, actor Kim Moo Yeol and Supernova's Yoon Hak.
"The Promise is a musical about soldiers who decided to sacrifice themselves in order to save their country and fellows during the Korean War and soldiers who tried to keep a promise with them. The actors in the poster portray seven war veterans who helped each other during the war.
Ji plays the role of platoon commander Ji Hoon, Kim plays the role of mysterious man Sang Jin, Yoon Hak plays the role of lively performer Dal Ho, and Leeteuk plays the role of feminine man Miss Kim.
The Promise is co-produced by the Ministry of National Defense, the Headquarter of the Army, and the Korea Musical Association in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War."

Interviewer: Is there any food you find particularly delicious in the military?
Teuk: Back when I was outside, I really disliked drinking milk . But after enlisting, whenever they gave out milk I would drink all of it, I even drank what the others couldn’t finish. Before enlisting, I also disliked eating rice, but now I eat every single grain on the plate without wasting anything. Also chocopies! I was the blood-donation ambassador for 4 years. When the employees of the blood donation drive came, I realized I’ve worked with the person prior. Because we knew each other, the person gave me 8 chocopies, 4 mandarin oranges, and 2 bags of cookies. I never realized I actually like chocopie this much!

Interviewer: After ending your training at the training centre, how have you been ever since you transferred here?
Teuk: I enlisted on the 30th of October. I received my training diligently at the Recruit Training Centre and after I finished the training, I was transferred here and have been working hard for the 6.25 musical that the Ministry of National Defence will be producing. (Because) I received my training diligently so my stamina seems to have worn out so I was worried if I could do well for the musical but now that practice has already started(,) I am living on with a pleasant mindset.
Interviewer: On the first day at the Recruit Training Centre, what thoughts did you have before you slept?
Teuk: Firstly(,) the people who has already came to the army told me a lot that it is really hard and lonely but I enlisted with Soldier Lee Sangchul(Sangchu) so we talked a lot so it seems that there wasn’t much loneliness. The 3 days that I was at the reserve centre(,) I kept thinking “am I really here at the army now?” and it didn’t feel real.

Leeteuk at The 9th White Horses Forces Completion Ceremony

Recently, he had finished his five weeks of basic training and he was spot to attend the basic training graduation ceremony which was held on 5th of December at training facility. During the conduct of the ceremony, Leeteuk as the squadron leader commanded the entire group.
Leeteuk is also confirmed to be participated in the musical namely "The Promise".

"Star King" episode 289 which was broadcasted on 10th November 2012 is said to be a very special episode because this very episode featured Kang Ho Dong's official return to Korean Entertainment field after a temporary retirement but at the same time it was the episode where Leeteuk will be leaving the show to serve his military duty for 2 years.
The guest being invited are ZE:A, 2PM and Hyuna from 4Minute.
The performance was amazing by commencing with "Gangnam Style" performed by a little PSY name Min Woo, following by a performance of 7 years old boy came all the way from China name Jiang Han also danced "Gangnam Style" who would like to challenge with Min Woo.

[Update]'Goodbye Leeteuk Special" on Strong Heart Episode 153 and 154
SBS Strong Heart has successfully made #1 in viewer ratings.
Pursuant to AGB Nielson Media Research, the ‘Goodbye Leeteuk’ special that aired on the 6th Nov had a rating of 8.8%, which was 1.7% higher than last week’s episode. The show invited the close friends to Leeteuk such as Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA, TVXQ, SHINee‘s Jonghyun and Taemin, and other Super Junior members comprises Eunhyuk and Yesung.
On the other hand, Leeteuk sent 100 celebrities a text message with the sentence "I'll miss you" as part of his special farewell.
However, the produced result of the text message proved to be hilarious. When the reply messages from celebrities were read out on the broadcast, a laughter burst out in the studio.
Lee Seung Gi, who was the first celebrity replying his message texted: “You haven’t gone yet? kekekeke... I’m going to miss you too ㅠㅠ". Another friend, 2PM Tacyeon replied back: “Hyung, take care~ But I think this is your first text to me, please contact me more often,”
Furthermore, Jewelry‘s Eunjung texted back, “Did you send this to the wrong person? Oppa, aren’t you going in as public service officer?“. Kim Min Jong answered, “Me too. Fighting… Time will go by fast. Enjoy it.“ Yoo Hyun Sang replied, “Teuk, you’ll do fine~ Even Boom went through it~ I’ll miss you. I’ll go visit you, fighting~“. K.Will answered, “Don’t lie keke. The nation wants solider Park Jung Soo. Sexy, free & single, and ready to enlist.“
